 ARTICLE I

OFFICES

The principal office of the corporation shall be located at 22 Forest Lake Circle, Greensboro, NC 27407-5008 and 410 St. Joseph Ave., St. Joseph, Missouri 64505. The Association may have other offices, either within or without the State of Missouri, as the Board of Directors may determine from time to time. (Revised 3/03/2005)

ARTICLE II

MEMBERS

SECTION ONE

QUALIFICATION OF MEMBERS. Membership in the Association shall be open to all individuals who served with the 86th Infantry (Blackhawk) Division during 1942 thru December 31, 1946. The immediate family members of deceased individuals who served with the 86"' Infantry (Blackhawk ) Division during the period noted above are permitted to become non­voting honorary members. These immediate family members are required to contribute an "Annual Blackhawk Bugle Subscription Fee"), are to receive all Association communications and may attend and participate in all functions during the Association's reunions.  (Revised 3/03/2005)

SECTION TWO

APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP. Any qualified individual may become a member by making application for membership, paying the required fee, and agreeing to be bound by the regulations and by-laws of the Association. 

SECTION THREE

VOTING RIGHTS.  Each member in good standing, shall be entitled to one vote on each matter submitted to a vote of the members.  

SECTION FOUR

TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION. The Board of Directors may suspend or expel a member for conduct unbecoming a member. Before suspension or expulsion, he shall be provided with written notice of the charges against him and of the time and place of the meeting of the Directors at which the charges  are considered. Notice shall be mailed to him at his last known address at least ten ( 10 ) days before such meeting and he shall be given the opportunity to defend the suspension or expulsion charges and the right to appeal before the members at the next Annual Meeting.

Members may be dropped from the membership rolls if past dues or fees have not been paid in full by October 1st of the new Fiscal year.  (Revised 09/22/92)
